Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the 3-LED mini surface mount strobe light, with the clear lens and amber LEDs. This strobe light's installed in aluminum housing. It's rated IP67, for water and dust resistance. Common use for this light is pickup trucks, work trucks or trailers. It's a black aluminum base, clear lens, 3 amber LEDs.Now it does come with the included black plastic flange, when you install it, and the rubber mounting base, that you would just run your wires through there. Here's two holes in the base, so just run them through the hole.

Then, the whole flange and light will sit right rubber mounting base.Now these LEDs do make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last about 50 times longer. They're more efficient, because they'll provide brighter light, with less power output, and of course, no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to break. This light does offer 19 flash patterns and simultaneous or alternating function.Does use a blunt cut wire connection, you can see. There's four wires.

They're 6" in length. Black wire is your ground wire. Red wire is your power wire. The yellow is used for synchronization and flash patterns, and then the white wire will be used for simultaneous or alternating flash.It is a surface mount design. You can see, included the plastic flange, the gasket, even comes with the mounting screws, and just attach it to the surface wherever you need to.

It is 3 LEDs. Voltage is 12V to 24V. Amperage is .3 amps, at 12V.Going to give you dimension on this, with the installation hardware all attached here. The overall length of it, end to end, is right at 4" long. Heighth of it is going to be right at 1-5/8" tall.

The depth is going to be right at 1-3/8" deep.What I'm going to do now is, we're going to hook these wires up, to show you how bright the light is and the flash pattern. Just to go through the wires again, we're going to take the black wire, which is the ground. We'll hook that up to ground. Red wire, which is going to be the power. We're going to hook the up to our power wire. Then, the other two wires, the yellow and the white, the yellow is going to be used for synchronization and flash pattern.What we're going to do with that is, once the light is on, I'm going to touch to power wire, the red wire, with the yellow wire. When I do that, it'll change the flash pattern. That's how you can change the flash patterns, and there's 19 of them to choose from.Also, this yellow wire is used for synchronization, because if you're going to us multiple lights on a vehicle, and you want them all to flash in the same pattern or sync them together, they'll all have yellow wires on them. What you'll do is, set your flash pattern and then connect all the yellow wires, to get the same flash pattern on all the multiple lights. The white wire is used for simultaneous or alternating flash. That we won't be able to show you, but that's what that one will be used for.Now, what I'm going to do is, just go ahead and turn the power on, with the black and the red connected. There, you can see the three amber LEDs lighting up, flashing. We'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. You can see how bright it is. Now, what I'm going to do is, go ahead and take that yellow wire. You can see, if I touch it to the power wire, it changes to a different pattern. If I do it another time, it'll change to another pattern. Again, each time you touch it, it'll reset to your choice of 19 flash patterns.Now, we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead light.
