Today, we're going to review part number 20135. This is the Tow Ready multi-plug OEM replacement harness. This kit will let you add a 7 way RV style trailer connector and a 4 way connector to your vehicle. It has the factory tow package. This is a custom fit part number. It is designed to plug into a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Mitsubishi vehicles, starting in the year 2000, that have the factory 7 way connector.
I would recommend this to go to our fit guide on our website, and you can put in your year and model of those vehicles, and it would tell you if this would be the correct part number for your application. This is a plug in, simple installation. There's no cutting or splicing required. This wiring harness, basically, will plug into your factor wiring at the back of the vehicle. The plug right here is extremely durable ABS plastic construction. It has a nice, oversized lid hinge right up here.
It helps keep out any dirt and moisture from getting to the terminals. It also has nice, enhanced weatherproofing. They do use seals on the cap itself, and the terminals are corrosion resistant. It does include the mounting bracket and the screws. They're all included. Basically, what you would do is, before you go and plug this in to the back of your vehicle, I would take your mounting bracket, slide it on.
Slide the four way also through there. Bring it all the way up, and you can see that it will line up. The holes on the mounting bracket will line up with the holes right there. At the very top, you'll see the holes for mounting it to the vehicle. Then, what's nice is, you'll see this little cutout on the side.
Basically, that's where you can just slide in your 4 way just like that. Then, plug this in and with this plugged in, this would be at the back of your vehicle. You have access to the 7 way, and then the 4 way, just like that. That should do it for the review on part number 20135, the Tow Ready multi-plug OEM replacement harness. .

Exact same product that was in the picture arrived at my door, so the item was exactly as described. It plugged directly into my factory wiring harness on my 1998.5 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 24v Cummins. It did not fit on the factory mounting position, but mine was very bent anyway. So I cut it off and used the included mount. The self tapping screws that were supplied were not very strong, so I had to use rivets to secure the mount. But I was mounting it on the hitch receiver which is very thick steel, so it was expected. Overall, great product and works as it should.

This is a nice quality part I'm using to replace the OEM connector on a 2008 Jeep Liberty. I really like the way it has a four pole connector in addition to the 7 way connector which saves time and the hassle of finding the four pole adapter to plug into the 7 way socket. The OEM part that came with the Jeep was 7 way only. This is a great improvement. Fast shipping and super communication. Thanks!
little problem hooking up to trucks wiring harness due to plastic square
connector being bent out of shape on bottom a little able to reshape and hookup,connector is a lot better quality than original one that was on truck and has 7-way & 4 pole connections makes towing different trailers easier awesome! fast shipping great price! helped me avoid dealing with dealerships high prices and delays on shipping and getting wrong product, website was easy to order from and great description of connector with good quality photos will save on my favorites and pass on to friends thank you Ross

Does this assemble connect to the wiring behind the left light assemble on the durango? want to make sure Im looking at the right thing. I need the entire assemble.

Wonderful product. All I had to do was pop out the old wiring harness and plug in the new. Easy as that. Bought a travel trailer so need the 7 way, but have a boat which uses the 4 flat wire so problem solved. Happy camper and boater. Great price as well. As a ebay person I couldn't find a better deal. Now etrailer is bookmarked on my PC..

Great customer service experience! The notification and follow-up was excellent regarding receiving my order, shipping my order and delivery of my order. This particular connector was exactly as advertised and plugged directly into my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo's factory wiring harness. I had to make a few minor modifications installing the bracket but it worked out just fine.
Has held up really well. My vehicle had an aftermarket harness already installed, but the video on the etrailer site made fitting the new one in much easier. The instructional videos on this site are really fantastic.
Had a small trailer I would always pull my dirt bikes never had trailer lights hooked up, which is illegal, I saw a product at etrailer for Only $29 bucks ,one two three clicks ,works imperfect. Avoid getting a ticket and for safety literally takes 5 minutes I would recommend hooking up your trailer lights

Good. Wasn't an exact fit on my jeep. I already had a bracket for the part on my car. Had to modify this piece to make it fit on the bracket already on my jeep. The plug was a good fit though

Hooked up in seconds and works great. I have the plug temporarily attached with zip ties until I decide on a permanent mount.
Shipping was extremely fast. Fit perfectly. Plug matched my 2000 Dodge 3500. I didn't want to strip and clamp wires and with this factory fit I didn't have to. ( and a flat 4way to boot. )
iIt whole be better if the flange that attaches the assembly to the truck is made of metal ,this whold make more durable. I Have had two assembles fail because the plastic broke where it attaches to the truck.
