Fit of Pollak # HM40975-11933 7-Way/4-Pole Connector on 2006 Jeep Liberty Factory 7-Way

Hello! I own a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 that has the factory tow package. I want to replace the factory 7-way connector with a connector that contains both a 7-way and a 4-way. Will this Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket, Dodge/Chrysler OEM Plug Adapter part # HM40975-11933 simply connect into my OEM plug with no modifications? The Pollak 7-way/4-pole Connector you referenced, part # HM40975-11933 will indeed replace the existing 7-way on your 2006 Jeep Liberty. The only possible knock on this connector is that both the 7-way and the 4-pole can't be used simultaneously, as both the protective covers won't open at the same time. If that's not a problem for you, this connector would work just fine.

The Tow Ready # 20135 would also be a fit, and both connectors could be used at the same time. I've linked you to product videos for each of the connectors.
