Replacement 7-Way Trailer Connector for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma

My factory connector needs to be replaced. What model do I need?

If you remove the factory 7-Way (if you haven't already) does the wiring harness that plugs into the back of it have a round connector or square? If it is round, you could use # PK11893.
If it is a square connector though you would need to hardwire in a trailer connector such as # HM40975-11998. To do this you would have to cut the square connector off and use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one to test the wires on the vehicle side to determine their functions. Then you can wire them up to the wiring harness included with # HM40975-11998.
On it the red wire is left turn signal and brake lights
White is ground
Blue is for output to trailer brakes
Green is right turn signal and brake lights
Black is 12-volt power
Brown is running/taillights
Yellow is reverse lights
