Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Dutton Lainson boat trailer spool roller. Now, this part will replace one spool roller that's on your boat trailer. This is designed to ease the loading and unloading of your boat, it'll even support the keel of the boat as it sits on the trailer, and it'll even help absorb road shock while your boat's being towed. This part is made from a solid high-grade rubber material. Application.
It's designed to fit a five inch wide bracket that has a five eights inch diameter shaft as it mentions on the roller itself, and the end is right at five inches. Diameter on the end here is three inches, and the roller length right here on the inside, the flat portion, is gonna be right at two and three quarter inches. But that should do it for the review on this Dutton Lainson five inch long boat trailer spool roller..

He told me that the rubber compound they use is a non-marking compound. At the narrower section in the middle it has a 2 inch diameter. On the ends it has a 3 inch diameter. I made a picture showing these dimensions.

You would need to cut the roller down to the length you need, and the shaft hole will be slightly larger at 5/8 inches than what you currently have. But is a roller with a 2-1/2 inch overall thickness.
