Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a quick look at the AceCamp folding double basin. This allows you to wash up dishes or transport water from one area to another and have a nice, easy way to do that. The nice thing about this is that it does fold pretty compact, so you can easily stash this in your trunk or in your pack, probably not something for hikers, necessarily, since it is a little bit bulky. But you can fold it out, and it's going to give you that double basin.
So this is going to be really nice for washing dishes, especially, because it'll have one area for sudsing up and then another one for rinsing. So you're not having to contaminate one for the other. It helps you to save a little bit more water that way and make things a bit easier, as well. So I'm going to pour a little water in here so you can see how it holds water, just to give you a visual for that. So I'll just pour in some on either side. And this should make it pretty easy to transport water, if you have to get it from a spigot somewhere or a pump, or maybe from a fresh water source, if you're lucky enough to be in an area where this available.
Just putting a little bit of water on either side, and that laminated vinyl helps and holds that water really nicely, so there's no leaks all the way around. But it still gives you nice, easy area to carry that water. This is probably going to be a little bit easier to carry between two people since it does carry up to 20 liters, which can start to get heavy. It's hard to hold this with just one hand, so I would say that it is definitely something you'll have to use two-handed or have a friend carry the other side for you. Does have a handle in the middle, but if you lift it that way, you run the risk of it collapsing on itself, and making it tricky to actually get that to go where you want it to go.As far as the overall size, whenever it's folded out, it's about 20 inches by about 10 and then about seven inches tall.
It's nice and lightweight, folds pretty compact as you saw and should be a great addition to your camping gear. So you can transport that water where you need it to be, and then have a nice station to wash up dishes after you're done cooking for the night.I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right basin for you. We do have another one that's just a single, that's 10 liters. You can also find that here at etrailer.com, along with a lot of other outdoor and camping gear. Enjoy.
Thanks for watching.
