Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this technique, 45 degree waterproof white LED boat accent light. Now this is an LED light that'll provide bright white light for your boat. So this is great for upgrading replacing your accent lighting, step lighting, walkway or even your underwater lighting. You can see when it is mounted it does have a 45 degree angle to it.

So it offers downward facing light to illuminate the area below. It is in an nice sealed waterproof housing lens unit has an IP68 rating. It is a durable polycarbonate housing with a UV resistant lens. And if you notice it's a clear high clarity lens that's over three white LEDs which provides 180 degrees of linear lighting. Now, one thing I do wanna mention is at the end of this video, I am going to connect this light to some 12 volt power just to show how bright the light is, but I first wanna go over some of its features, just like those use premium LEDs which are energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant.

They do use a military grade construction of the circuit board which means they use a urethane potting which gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting. And as we mentioned, it is a surface mount installation. Now it does mount using a protective 45 degree mounting cover, which we do sell separately on our website, and they do come in different finishes like stainless steel or black. I did wanna pop up an insert, there just happened to be a stainless steel cover that's designed just for this 45 degree mounting light. But again, those we do sell separately on our website and they are listed on this product page as a related product.

Now this will hard wire here application. The wire length on this is seven inches. They give you both a power and a ground wire. This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. Give you a few dimensions on the light itself.

The length of it, oops, from one end to the other is right at two and one eighths inches. The depth of it is right at five eighths of an inch, and the overall height is five eighths of an inch also. Light output on this is 240 lumens, input voltage nine volts to 14 volts. So what I'm gonna do now is go ahead and hook up our 12 volt power, and once we have that hooked up I'll go ahead and turn on the 12 volts and there you can see the bright, go ahead and turn off the over lights, and there's your bright white you can see the three LEDs. Again the light output is about 240 lumens, gives you a very bright light. What I'm gonna do is just zoom out also just to show you from a distance, the light, how it gives off, we talked about the 180 degree linear lighting and I'll just go ahead and zoom back in, we'll go ahead and turn back on overhead lights and we'll turn off our power but that should do it for the review on this technique. 45 degree waterproof white LED boat accent light..
