Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made Bimini top aluminum slide assemblies. Now these are going to allow you to slide your Bimini top down so that you can fold it away from the area that you want it to be. So you can have it sit and fall behind your seat, or maybe over your motor compartment, wherever it needs to be out of the way whenever you don't need it. So come with our two 30 inch long rails. That's going to measure again, 30 inches from end to end, and then we'll have the two slides to go inside.
So they're going to just slide along and then we can attach our hinge hardware into that slide using the provided hardware. So we'll have these two smaller screws and two washers to go through. Our hinge will go on top and then our screws, and then the washers go beneath that hinge. So that's, what's going to keep that in place and allow it to move along the track. We'll also get the end caps to complete the look and also act as a stopper for the end of our slide and that will also Mount it in place. So these are going to be longer screws to go through the end, and there's going to be a hole in that end piece and also in the end of the rail.
So it'll just match them, was up Mount it in place and should be good to go there. Of course, it is longer than the rail. So that's why the screw doesn't want to stay down in there, but not only helps to act as a stopper for that, but also just completes the look of the rail and keeps there from being a sharp edge on the surface of your boat.So it won't catch on anything. It makes it look nice and finished there. So it comes with everything you see laid out on the table here.
It is made of aluminum, so we don't have to worry about it rusting out over time. Same thing for our end caps and these also are available separately. If you need to pick up some replacement parts. Same thing for the slides to go inside. Now, if you need any other Bimini replacement parts or accessories, you can always check each etrailer.com for any of your needs.
As far as the width of our rails, it's about seven eighths of an inch wide and about three eighths of an inch tall. The distance between those mounting holes center to center is about 28 and seven eighths inches apart. And that's going to do it for our look at the Taylor Made Bimini top aluminum slide assembly.
