Right part, delivered quickly (a few days earlier than originally estimated) at a fair price. I love ordering from trailer.

by:

I purchased an older trailer, need to move my tractor some 150 miles this Saturday, tested brakes and found brake cylinders were seized. I tested this on a Wednesday, Needed to make trip Friday night or Saturday morning. I found this part, exact replacement, saw that it could get here by end of day on Friday, so I took chance that it would get here by weekend. I placed order at 3:45 Wednesday afternoon, it was processed with urgency and made out the door and in UPS's hands by 4:30. Parts showed up before 1:00 PM on Friday. I was able to install, bleed and adjust brakes, repack bearings and have all back together on my 1 hour lunch brake. Doing business with Etrailer has always been pleasurable. Just one more example of a great business doing what they do best. Keep it up gang! Andy

The items I received are just what I ordered and fit perfect. Etrailer shipped the items immediately.

All parts for boat trailer brake repair (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brake pushrod) were exact replacements and fit perfectly, solving my braking issues. Paid for expedited shipping and parts were delivered in two days as promised. I'm very pleased with etrailer!

by:

They arrived a day earlier than expected with two day shipping, and were a direct replacement for my boat trailer. They are very nice cast aluminum wheel cylinders that should last much longer than the old cast iron ones they replaced. Bolted right in, and had the same inlet threads. Also love that they came with a pretty nice rubber bleeder cap. They also included the pushrod as well, which was a plus as mine were a little rusty and would've needed to be cleaned up. Definitely worth the wait for buying online, instead of adapting something from the local auto parts store!!

by:

The manufacturer of my trailer couldn't get me this part. Told it was on backorder. Etrailer had the part in stock and shipped it that day. I'm cheap so we got basic shipping which was still faster than anticipated. Customer service was excellent.

by:

Hello, Service Helpdesk was a great help in verifying the parts that I was ordering were correct for my trailer. The parts that I order were correct and delivered in a timely manner. Great service and quality parts. Thanks,

by:

sales rep was very helpful with suggestions for proper fitting wheel cylinder.

by:

shipping was great and on time and the product is very good although it is made of aluminum which was a surprise. The ones I took off were steel. I assume the aluminum replacements will be fine, it was just a surprise.

by:

We received our order in timely manner. The customer service was amazing and helped us to find the exact parts we needed for the trailer. We highly recommend to use this shop.

by:

I thought it would be hard to find parts for a 1992 trailer but it was actually easy using your site. Thank you.

by:

I’m thankful I found Etrailer. The parts fit and are good quality. It has saved us a lot of money and time.

by:

Received the brake cylinder in a timely manner and it was exactly what I needed. Installed it and all is good.

by:

Recevied on time, had to drill mounting hole on back plate a little larger for bolt to line up. Works great.

by:

  • How to Measure Trailer Hub Drum for Dimensions
You can refer to the linked photo that shows how to measure both the diameter and depth of a boat trailer hub/drum. When selecting new hubs there are several characteristics you need to match up to ensure compatibility. Those are weight rating (to match the axle), wheel bolt pattern and the bearing set used in the hub. A new hub has to use the same inner and outer bearings in order for it to fit on your spindles and you want to ensure the bolt pattern for your wheels matches the new hub....

  • Troubleshooting a Dico 60 Hydraulic Surge Brake Actuator with Only 1 Drum Locking Up
There are a few things that could be causing this issue on your brakes. First thing I would check for would be a clog in the brake lines. To do this you will want to bleed the brakes. Second thing it could be is a bad wheel cylinder which would recommend replacing with either the # AKBRKR-H7-R (right hand side) or # AKBRKR-H7-L (left hand side). Lastly your breaks not locking up could be due to if grease has gotten on the brake shoes. If any grease gets on the inside of the drum or...
