Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement cable lock for the Yakima FlipSide or SwingDaddy bike carriers. Now this cable lock will replace the integrated cable lock that's on your central mass of the Yakima FlipSide or SwingDaddy hitch mounted bike carriers. Now just one note is this does not come with a SKS lock core. Those we do sell separately. This kit will include everything shown here on the table comes with the cable itself right here, comes with the control key, the tamper-proof wrench, the spare cap screw, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how this all goes together.

And you can see this part here. This is where your cap screw, you can use the one you already have, or there's a spare one and it uses this tamper-proof wrench to tighten it down so nobody can remove it and then your lock cable would come out, lock it around your bike. When you're not using it, put it back in there. Now as mentioned, this part does not contain a lock core that goes in here. The control key that they include, that is used to remove or insert your existing lock core and install it into here or offer if you're gonna change them out.

To be key to like, you can use this control key to remove or install the SKS lock cores. Now if you already, if you already have the lock cores you can just replace them by using this control key and put it in here. If you do need an SKS lock core for your Yakima product we do sell those separately. You'll just need to get the number off the locker the key to order them correct item. I did wanna pop up an insert.

There's what the lock core would look like. Might be hard to see, but on the side of the cord it'll have the number etched on there so you'll know which one to get to match all your other ones.
