Etrailer is a great resource. I expected better quality from Yakima. The quality fall a bit short for the price. Etrailer has awesome to work with.

So based on that info we know that the Yakima Backswing pivoting hitch adapter part # Y02483 would work well for you as it would fit under your door clearance and would also allow your rack to pivot out and away like you are wanting.
