Fits perfectly. I was concerned because on the Yakima site it was difficult to understand if this was the right part. On the etrailer site there are even more parts for the Yakima products but each comes with a detailed explanation of which product it is designed to fit and even an individual video. Perfect replacement for the rear tray on a couple of Yakima FrontLoaders that I have. The old trays had the ratchets break and also the strap was too short for newer mountain bikes with bigger tires (2.6”) but these straps are slightly longer and fit the fatter tires fine. Shipped quick and easy plug & play. These do not ratchet similar to the originals but that doesn’t seem to make much difference in how well they hold. I don’t like being wasteful, so when my bike rack broke, I tried to find a replacement part. I looked at the Yakima site and could not find it. Amazon seemed like it wasn’t going to be a guarantee fit. Etrailer was great. It was back ordered and they kept me informed on what was going on with the part and I think I’m the replacement part is better than the OEM part. I’ve had it for a year and still no problems1634877

I accidentally left the end cap off of my Yakima FrontLoader and the original that this part replaced flew off somewhere on the highway. This was a perfect fit with no issues! The strap feels a little more rigid than the original but no issues in terms of how it works.711095

When Yakima told me there would be a long delay in getting a rear wheel tray for my bike roof rack they suggested I contact etrailer. etrailer was an absolute pleasure to deal with; there were some delays in the manufacturer shipping schedule but etrailer kept me advised week-by-week and included a phone number if I had questions. I sprung the little ratchet strap on the wheel tray of my Yakima Frontloader bike carrier. Yakima's website was dreadful and no help at all. I remembered I had purchased the rack from etrailer.com so went there and they had exactly what I needed—easy to find and at a very reasonable price. It was a small part so I had to pay shipping, but the part fit like a glove and I'm back in action.545134

I have a couple of older Yakima Front Loaders -the straps aren't long enough for the modern-day plus size tires. These new ones are just what I needed as they are plenty long enough to secure said plus size tires. Ain't that cool ! ?

Very sturdy hard plastic. I used this as a rear mounting support for my Kuat Mini Skinny roof rack. I had to customized for it to fit flush in between the rail. Worked great!580438
