Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this replacement lock cylinder for your UWS toolboxes with the square paddle handle only. Now folks, this will replace a damaged lock cylinder on your UWS toolbox, again, with those square paddle handles only, it will not work with the drawer slide, dog boxes, T handle, or the push button locks. Now folks, this is key to CH501. You're gonna get one lock cylinder and two keys that are keyed alike, so again, you can see that engraving there. CH501, same thing with the spare key and on the lock core itself, very simple operation, the nut here's what you would tighten whenever you put it in place and obviously whenever you turn the key, you are turning the lock part there to lock it.

Not all the parts were with the product is missing the nut called and sent the wrong size nut, waiting for a new lock cylinder

This lock replacement was exactly what I needed and worked perfectly to replace the lock on my truck toolbox.
You have to detach the whole lock latch unit to install the new lock core, but once you do, the installation of the core itself couldn't be simpler. Fits perfectly and works as promised once re-installed.

Thank you for your prompt service. We had ordered a new tool box and when it arrived it had a broken lock cylinder. Rather than trying to replace the lock through the supplier we found your information on the internet and within a few days we had the correct replacement lock cylinder.
we ordered a replacement cylinder for a toolbox we bought at a garage sale and with my son going off to college he needed to be able to lock it. The fit was perfect, it was easy to figure out what to get. Also the shipping price was reasonable and it came in a very timely manner.

Same issue of extremely long shipping wait time and ship time, the product itself was good quality, though I think design wise the website should be a little more clearer when something is in stock, as i originally ordered a no longer manufactured part, and waited, like an idiot

We sold the truck that had the box which this lock went on, so I dont own it anymore, however, we were happy with it while we owned it.
