Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable w/ Plunger Pin - 4' Long

I cannot yet figure out how to remove the plunger pin from the old ASCO breakaway switch to allow this one to be inserted. I will likely be returning it.1752549

I didn't work as expected. It was the wrong type to fit into my breakaway switch. I wish they were of a standard type.
I will be using it in the future with a compatible switch on another trailer.660262

Very simple item all trailers should have - complements safety cables like C80176 - Replaced both the original safety chains and breakaway cables on two new trailers. The convenience is well worth it.........284969

Still operating as expected. Because it recoils out of the way it does not get damaged like the wire ones. Added benefit: no metal splinters from fraying wire rope!

This coiled cable is so much easier to use than the wire our emergency brake switch came with. No tangles and so slipping around the safety chains1156519

Replaced the standard cable with this one. Really like that it has a carabiner instead of a simple loop, doesn't dangle close to the road, and has a high visibility protective coating.
It's much less likely that I would forget to disconnect it, which is why I needed to replace the original in the first place!990843

Great product! Much better than having a steel cable hanging loosely between the trailer and tow vehicle. Easier to attach to the tow vehicle as well. A simple solution to correcting this issue.457548
