Replacement Lock Cylinder for UWS Toolboxes w Square Paddle Handles - CH505

The lock was missing the screw needed to tighten lock to paddle handle. Fortunately, I still had the old one!1699950

CH505 LOCKS - Good product. The only problem, the locks numbered as CH 505 here in the US are keyed different than those made in Canada. So, I now have to carry 2 keys. I would replace all the locks with these, but there are 3 different types of the CH 505. on my 2010 Westward GO-4 Interceptor III.520559

This is a very good, and decently priced item. High quality cylinder lock with keys. This was installed in a very old beat up toolbox that a friend gave me, and fit perfectly. I did have to WD-40 the keyhole just because I was having a small amount of difficulty inserting the key but obviously since it's brand new it just needed a little grease, now has perfect operation. Only tool required was an adjustable wrench, which also needed a little WD-40 since it came free with the dinosaur of a toolbox. Very pleased with purchase and have since recommended etrailer to friends for low priced stuff. Thanks again!194425

Still working. I dont use this trailer everyday but Ive had no problem with the lock to date.

Put them on today was a little worried about the length of the cylinder being shorter then the ones I took off the tool box , but they work very well . I'm also glad they are keyed alike since I bought two for the toolbox on my truck.558210
