Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the steel band kit for your Tuson tire pressure monitoring system. This is going to allow you to attach your Tuson's tire pressure monitoring system sensor onto your vehicle's tire. This will work if your wheel's valve stem diameter is not compatible with the Tuson's interchangeable valve stem.This steel band will wrap around the inner rim of your wheel. It's designed for rims that have a diameter of 18 inches up to 24 inches, so it is going to fit that wheel rim diameter range.
This is a nice steel construction. We also have a stainless steel cradle. So again, very high quality materials. That cradle, again, is where your sensor is going to attach to. They do have a screw there so that you can get that attached, and that cradle is going to be threaded onto our steel band here.On the backside, there is some heavy-duty 3M double-sided adhesive to make sure that that stays on your rim, so it's not going to be sliding around on your band at all.
So everything is going to be stationary. And the band itself is very easy to tighten down. You just use a flathead screwdriver and twist, and that will tighten the band, make it smaller so that it'll fit your rim diameter.Now, keep in mind if you have a wheel rim diameter that is less than 18 inches, we do have another band that will be a better option for you there. But if your wheel rim is 18 to 24 inches, this is the option that will work for you. And you will need a set for any wheels that you are going to want to monitor the pressure on.
