Hello etrailer neighbors, I'm Steve. Today we're looking at the taillight kit and license plate holder for your Thule Epos Bike Racks. Now once again, this is a license plate holder kit and a taillight kit for your Thule Epos Bike Rack. That's gonna help keep your vehicle safe and visible. You'd simply mount this kit on that bike rack, which again is sold separately, the bike rack. You're gonna get two LED taillight bars.
They're gonna provide running lights and brake lights and turn signals. And there's an integrated holder that's gonna keep the license plate visible and illuminated at night. So this license plate light down here would actually slide back in here, but for demo purposes, I'm leaving it off. Now the wiring harnesses that come with this guy are very, very nice. I'm gonna try to zoom in here and maybe show you a little better.
So these guys, they're basically a twist and lock. I've got 'em put together right now for demo, so I'm gonna leave them kind of put together. But basically yellow is left. Remember the L in yellow, that's your left turn and green, the R in green is right. So that's your right hand turn.
Now this has a four-Way flat trailer connector and again, I've got it wired up right now. So I want to turn off the overhead lights here in a second, but first I'll run through 'em with the lights on and then the running lights. Now with the lights off and there you go. And apologize, I keep hitting some of them a couple times, but lemme try to hold this on and show you a little better, one of these lit up, different angles, maybe, pretty visible, especially at nighttime. You don't want to be, you know, you wanna be extra safe.
That guy there is pretty bright. That's the license plate light. And again, the other turn signal, I got my hand over it there. But again, pretty bright, nice little light kit and license plate bracket holder and running lights to keep you nice and safe whenever you're out there driving along and everything. All right, now that the lights are back on, we can see. So why I got it zoomed in close here. I wanna also show you the rest of the stuff that comes in this kit. You're gonna get some zip ties, you're gonna get a couple of Allen keys and some little bolts. You're gonna get a couple bags of these plastic clips And just read the provided instructions that come with the kit, comes with instructions and you should be fine. Now while I got it zoomed in here and I took the power cord off, I can show you the wiring better. So again, a four way flat connector or four pole, however you want to call it, with the nice included dust cap. That'll keep everything safe. And as far as the light connections, again, it's a simple twist lock. Once it's unlocked, I just simply wiggle it free and it's kind of hard to see there, but they're round pin connectors. You can kind of see that here, very nice design. They give you a nice length of wire on both sides. I think you're gonna have more than enough to spread out at least six feet if you had to. So pretty nice little kit here. Well folks, that's gonna do it for our look at this taillight kit and license plate holder for the Thule Epos Bike Racks. I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Stay safe out there, have fun installing.
