Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this rear view safety 9" color monitor. This monitor is going to allow you to see what's on your cameras for your RV, or maybe your bus, whatever you're installing this into.It is going to display that feed from the camera. So, if you are using it as a backup camera, you can see what's coming up behind you as you're parking your way into your camp site so that you're going to avoid hitting trees, potentially even a catastrophe like running over a pet or a child. So, it's a great safety feature, but this is going to give you that nice wide screen so that you're able to see that.It does have a base that comes with it so you can easily set this on your dashboard.

The base does have a ball and socket feature to it so that you can adjust whatever angle works best for you so that you always have the best view of the monitor.And this is capable of supporting up to three different cameras. So, if you want to have a backup camera and then one on each side, that's going to be totally feasible with this setup. So, there are three different ways that you can control which camera you're seeing on the screen there.You can set all of your wiring up to a constant power so that all three cameras are getting power continuously anytime the motor is on. And then you have a button here on the screen that will allow you to alternate between your different cameras so that if you want to see what's on your left, you push the button and that comes up. If you want to see what's on your right, push the button again and the right camera will come up.

So, that's an option. You also have the remote here that you can use to switch between your camera feeds.But then a third option that you have is, you can wire each camera to a signal. So, if you want to have the camera on the right side of your vehicle come on when you turn your right signal on, you can wire that way so that it's automatic. Whenever you're getting ready to change lanes to the right, you can see what's over there on your right side to make sure that you're not going to run into anybody.Same with the left. Turn on your left turn signal, the camera's going to turn on for that.

And then if you want to, you can have your rear view backup camera tied to your reverse signal so that as soon as you put it in reverse, the camera's going to pop up on your monitor here to show you what the rear camera is seeing. So, you can do that so that it's tied to that circuit.You can also have that tied to constant power so it's almost like a rear view mirror up there in your dash so that you can see everything that's behind you. Make it easier to change lanes and that sort of thing as you're traveling. So, lots of different options there.We'll work with all three of those cameras. And if they have microphones on them, which most cameras do, this does have a speaker in it so you can hear what's going on around you as well which is going to come in handy.

If you're at a camp site, parking up, someone's giving you directions to make sure that you're going to stay away from the trees and the picnic table and things like that. You'll be able to hear them on this monitor. So, I think it's going to do a good job for you. Give you clear image of everything that you have going on around you.This does come with a one-year warranty. So, if you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give us a call. It is 9" in diagonal, so it is a good size screen. It's probably not the biggest out there, but it's definitely not the smallest either.
