Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule replacement quick on/off bracket for the Time Travel series cargo boxes. Now this is gonna replace a quick on/off bracket for your Thule Adventurer, Cascade, Excursion, Frontier or Mountaineer roof mounted cargo boxes. This will not fit the ES models, but because this is a direct replacement from Thule, you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original bracket. No worries about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. So if you are needing to replace that original quick on/off bracket, this is gonna be exactly what you need.

Exactly what I needed! After not using my Thule cargo box in two years, I need to get it back up on the car because I'm moving. *Shocking development* After two years, I'm missing some components of the mounting hardware. I searched for two hours on Thule's website and several others unable to find the pieces I required or even ones that would suffice and get the job done. After 5 minutes on etrailer I found the EXACT pieces I needed and they got them to me in three days! Super clutch. I'd recommend them any day. Specifically for this bracket (top one in picture) tho, it's exactly the same as the one my kit came with, just black and without the foam padding, excellent quality.

Just what I needed to mount my Thule Adventurer roof box on modern wider bars. The clips I had were for the older style square bars.

Easy ordering process. Like that they have a ton of parts. However, the original carriage bolts on my Adventurer box do not fit into the holes of the bracket. The square part of the bolts are slightly bigger. I’m going to try to file the bracket holes to fit the bolts instead of returning as I need brackets.

Product arrived on time and matches the description.
I wish etrailer sold the other individual parts--not as a set--necessary to secure this kind of car top carrier! My only options now are to either buy the whole set at a higher price point, or recreate them from scrap metal and hardware I can cobble together from other sources. This piece would have been the hardest to recreate, so at least I didn't have to do that (thanks, etrailer)!

After a year the roof box is still sitting securely on top of my Xterra.
