Replacement Mounting Kit for a Thule Weekender Cargo Box

Question:

i have a 1990s vintage Thule Weekender cargo box. we used it over Thanksgiving for the first time in many, many years. when we returned home and while trying to remove the cargo box, a few hand knobs broke and others showed hair line cracks. i would like to replace all 8 knobs but am having trouble finding the kind i need. also, because of its age, was wondering if it is time to replace all the mounting hardware? can you help?

Expert Reply:

You likely should go ahead and fully replace the mounting hardware. Unfortunately, there isn't a kit available anymore for the Weekender, but all of the individual parts are available. I've listed them out with their part numbers and the number of each needed to complete the kit below:

8x M6 3-Wing Knobs, part # TH04877
4x Replacement Support Plate, part # TH10378
4x Quick Brackets, part # TH04973
8x M6 x 75 Carriage Bolts, part # TH10403
