Works as it should. I know some folks complain that this cover can be pried/broken off easily but I'm hoping it will at least slow the bad guys down a bit. If I was leaving the bikes unattended for an extended time I'd cable lock everything to the roof rack rails. Those cables can be cut
pretty easily also, truth be told. So maybe a high voltage capacitor attached to the works is the way to go.
This cap does exactly what I expected it to do. I bought some used sidearm racks for a great price that were missing a few pieces so I got this cap to lock the rack to my roof bars. It works great and I've never had an issue with it coming loose. Not that they need replacing, but if I needed another one I wouldn't hesitate to buy one from etrailer.
