This tamperproof screw is used in an assortment of Thule accessories to ensure that the mounting clamps cannot be removed without the proper tool, a tamperproof wrench (853-5270-02 - sold separately).Purchased these bolts to replace the short bolts (M6 x 30mm) from a very old Thule bike rack. Amazing they worked perfectly with the 15year old Thule bike rack perfectly. I was concerned the nut inside the brackets would be the wrong size or thread count.
Product was as described and arrived as promised. (also glad to not use another site but support another online retailer)
More ppl with Thule products need to find and use this site. THANK YOU FOR HELPING KEEP MY OLD SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL.
