Tekonsha P3 Replacement Cradle Mount

Today we're going to review part number TK5901. This is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller replacement plastic cradle. This plastic cradle comes with your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller when you purchase it, but we also sell this part separately if you need an extra one or if you've damaged it and you need a replacement one. This is designed to work with the metal mounting bracket we also sell separately. This is part number TK5904. They actually work together. The metal small bracket attaches to your dash and then using the hardware that we do sell separately the plastic cradle will attach to this metal bracket that will allow you to slide your brake controlled in and then it adjusts up and down wherever you'd like. That should do it for the review of patient TK5901. This is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller replacement plastic cradle.

This is a replacement for the cradle that came with my Prodigy P3. The plastic ear tore on the left side because the controller kept getting hit when I was entering my truck. The new one one is just like the old one with perhaps a bit of plastic reinforcement on the ears. ETrailer was sterling--very good customer service and very quick shipping.
To further reinforce the attachment to the truck, I have used a long machine screw to go from one side of the cradle to the other, and put metal washers and small bolts lavishly where the ears connect to the metal clamp. I'm hoping this will give additional strength.
I had to order this clip to add my brake controller to a second vehicle,for switching back and forth.Product as described and works excellent.
I had to re-order the correct part. The whole reason you buy off the internet is speed and in the literally 30 seconds I spent ordering the bracket I managed to order just the cradle not the complete bracket. So my mistake but the next gentleman was very helpful.
The product is an OEM replacement of excellent quality. I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but I want to compliment etrailer.com on their excellent service. The order was processed and shipped quickly, and communications confirming receipt of my order, shipment of my order, tracking information, etc. were timely and informative.
Item was exactly as described and top notch. I broke the original by kicking it accidentally. The replacement is exactly the same. Item was delivered very quickly and the price was right.
Good spare to have. Inexpensive insurance should something happen to the installed one.

Very well.
Super cheerful voice answered when I called, knew exactly what I needed, accepted my order, pronto, took payment, zippo, done! Got my items in two days, GREAT !
Appears to be OEM part, in perfect, new condition. A little pricey for what it is, but better than the alternatives.
Quick shipping, item looks and feels so lid.

The part is still intact. Ive moved the controller and the cradle over to the right side of the wheel and it does not get knocked about nearly as much. Im hoping the cradle will last as long as the controller.
