Video Transcript for Review of Taylor Made Boat Parts - PVC Sealing Foam - 3691630

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at Etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at this PVC sealing foam. This is going to have a lot of different uses on your boat. Mostly it's going to help to seal up any gaps in your windshield. So if you're doing any kind of repairs or maybe just putting in a new windshield or whatever the case might be, this is going to help to take up those gaps, make sure that you don't have any holes there, and also to help to seal up where your screws are and protect them from the elements as well.So we can take a closer look at this foam. It is going to be made out of PVC, or polyvinyl chloride, so it's going to be nice and durable.

Should be up to the task for being out in a Marine environment. You can see it has a nice give to it so it should squish in between any of those cracks and then expand up to fill up the gap. So this is going to measure six feet long in total, and it's three quarters of an inch tall and a half inch thick. Again, protects your mounting screws, keeps bitty gaps from happening in the interior of your windshield. That's really about all there is to it. It is made in the USA and that's all there is for me on showing you this PVC sealing foam.

I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right piece for you. One last thing, it does have double-sided tape there. So to install it, that's all you got to do: peel that backing and then press it down to get it to adhere. So it's good to clean the mounting surface before you do that, to make sure that it gets a good adherence to the surface. So that's just one little tip.If you need any other accessories for your boat, including repair parts or any other kind of accessories, we do have a lot of options here at Etrailer.com so check them out.

Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.
