Today we're going to take a look at the TaylorMade tidy ups boat fender adjuster kit. Now this fender adjuster will easily snap over your lifeline or your railing, and it's used to keep your fender at the correct height on the side of your boat. Does include this tidy up adjuster and the six foot long rope. Now the boat fender adjuster kit. It's designed to match your black true color fender, but it can work with other types of fenders. The kit comes with this adjuster that'll simply snap over the lifeline or the railing.
In other words, you just twist that to open it, drop it over the lifeline or your railing, twist that back into place and it'll hold it in place. And the strap itself is made of a nice flexible rubber material that will not damage your railing, has a nice finish to it. This does allow you to easily adjust the desired fender height in an instant, and it can hold lines up to five eighths of an inch in diameter. Does come with this six foot long, three eighths inch diameter solid black braid rope to match your black fender. It is a polypropylene rope, will not fade or kink and it's mildew and rot resistant. And just to demonstrate how you would install this, again, you go back to twisting this open, open it up, drop it over your railing, push it back, twist it to hold it, and then with that held in place you take ...
Now the loop bend on this rope is what'll connect to your fender. And the other open-end is what's going to go up through this adjuster. So what you want to do first is push this brass roller up and unthread the end of the rope right up underneath the roller. Pull it up through here and then run it over the strap just like that. And then when you think you got it right height, if you leave that brass roller go, that'll pinch it into place and you can see with the weight of the fender on here, when it pulls down on it, it'll lock it, keep it from going anywhere.
And if it's again, not at the right height, just lift up on the roller, pull up on the rope, drop it again. You can see it'll hold it right into place. Very simple to do. And then if you need to remove the whole rope, just pull up on it, pull it all the way out. So it's very quick and easy and simple to operate to get the fender at the correct height onto the side of your boat. But that should do it for the review on the TaylorMade tidy ups boat fender adjuster kit..
