Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look of a Taylor Made Quick Knot Boat Fender Hangers. These are going to make it a lot easier to get your hangers in place, or take them off since you don't have to worry about tying a knot every time to get those hangers in place, or to get those fenders in place. So these are just going to eliminate the need to tie a knot every time and then dig with it with your fingernails to get it untied. So these are going to work better with a quarter inch rope, something of this a little bit smaller, it's just made of a plastic construction.

They're a little bit more heavy duty than I was actually expecting. Just looking at them in the package I expected them to be pretty light and flimsy but they're pretty pretty solid.So I like that. It's a good indicator for how they're going to last and as far as how this works, excuse me, basically we're going to have our length of rope, we're going to put that into the larger hole at the bottom and you want to make sure that there's a knot tied in the other end of your rope, and then that's going to go down through this little keeper at the bottom. So this will be going around our railing or the attachment point where we have our fender, and then if you grab the rope and smush it into these little teeth, they do a pretty good job of holding it into place but that was the part that I was having a little bit of trouble with when I was messing with this.So you have to pull up and then back down to get it in place. Probably will be a little bit easier whenever this is actually on something and you're not having to mess with it as much but if you pull back down against those teeth, it actually helps to seep that rope all the way down in there, and then that does a pretty good job of holding our knot tight.

Of course, I didn't tie my knot big enough there but it does narrow down as it comes up. So even if that knot doesn't stay outside, it shouldn't travel all the way through.So if that knot gets caught up inside, we can still take this whole thing off and then we just have this attached to the end. So not really any issues there. I think this does make it a lot easier rather than having to really claw at a knot and fight with it to get it to be, to get undone. So it should make life on the boat a little bit easier.

We do get four of these hangers. As far as dimensions, each one measures just about two and an eighth inch long by about one and an eighth inch wide. Excuse me, let me do the. Yeah. One at an eighth inch wide at the widest point down there and then at the thickest point going the other way, it's about three quarters of an inch.
