Today we're going to be taking a look at Part Number RM-2110. This is the Roadmaster Replacement Tie Down Ratchet for your Roadmaster Tow Dolly. The unit is going to secure your wheel nuts quickly and easily. It's designed for use on Roadmaster Tow Dollies. It's going to secure to your Tow Dolly using a bolt and nut through the mounting hole right here. Your hardware is going to be sold separately. The diameter of that bolt hole is going to measure 3/8ths of an inch. This part number includes one Tie Down Ratchet.
It's made in the USA. Has a really nice, solid construction to it. Looks like it has a chromate finish, so it's going to stand up well against rust and corrosion. The large ratchet is going let us get the leverage that we need, that way we can apply enough tension to the strap for a nice, tight, secure fit. It's got the quick release design, as well. Nice, large release lever, so you can get an easy grip on it.
When you are ready to release the strap, all you have to do is open up the mechanism all the way, and then you can simply just unwind the strap through the mechanism. I have a wheel strap over a wheel, right here, today. This is the end that would feed through our ratchet mechanism. Very easy to do. You want to place one end through that center area there. Make a u-turn with it. Your ratchet would be mounted to your Tow Dolly.
Once you have your strap ran through, all you have to do is use the handle there, pull up on that portion, and it's going to start tightening the strap. Again, to release, all you have to do is open up the mechanism all the way. It's going to secure an open position. Simply take your strap and then bring it back out of that center area. That's going to do for our review of Part Number RM-2110. .

This is a OEM Roadmaster replacement ratchet to replace one that was lost. Be careful driving long distances without a vehicle strapped down using this ratchet or it may come off.
Heavy duty ratchet and not a cheap knockoff like ones for half the price on eBay. Inferior tie down ratchets are not a good idea when these hold and support a vehicle that weighs close to 4,000 pounds.
