Excellent quality, I've already tried it out and it makes it so much easier to get to my "THULE CARGO BOX,XT ---XXL.I ran into a person that has the same problem, he's 5'8" tall and drives a new Subaru Outback.Has a cargo box and it's hard for him to reach it.I showed him what I have, tried it on his Subaru as well as he did and he loves it.Gave him the name of your company.(Sorry I don't know how to send pictures on my phone)

Still working perfectly perfect, the Hook itself could be a little bit wider because the round stock itself is bigger in diameter than the gap in the hook, other than thatits working just perfect. In fact its alot cheaper than a ladder.

by:

This is a great tool. The only thing I would recommend to anyone is maybe find something to put between it and your door jamb on your vehicle to spread the weight out some more. I used mine and put a small dent in my door jamb. 6’3” 230lbs. Not a problem with the door step but just how thin the metal is on these new cars these days! Thanks

by:

If you have a rooftop carrier this is a huge help when loading and unloading it

by:

Exactly what I ordered, they work well to get to my rooftop cargo.

by:

I think this is a good high quality product, but for me will not work on a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander due the heavy sheet metal radius under the rear door catch.

by:

The product is well built and strong really handy and e trailer was good to deal with a responded well

by:

Arrived Friday for Memorial Day weekend. Was looking forward to using it for a camping trip but, could not get either side to unlock. Tried both keys numerous times. No luck. Have to wait until Tuesday to call customer service. Not Happy.

by:

Great contraption. Surprised how weighty it is but very sturdy. I tried it out as soon as it was delivered. Held me up without issue. I’m 180 and even hopped on it a bit and showed no signs of stress. My only wish would be if there was one with a longer vertical arm so the step would be so high.

by:

Great product!

by:

great addition to F250 4x4 with factory lift... it makes is so easy to access the roof & camper shell ! If you have truck or SUV its a must have!!!

by:

The door step made it very easy to access our roof top carrier. Completely satisfied.

by:

The Moki Door Step makes it much easier to load bikes, snowboards, skis, rafts, kayaks, etc. on the roof racks of my 4Runner & tundra. Others who have seen me using it ask where I got it. So I let them know about eTrailer & the great service, support and fast shipping the company staff provides to customers!

by:

purchased this step for my wife to use to load/unload a kayak on a 2017 Outback. Item fits both front and rear door latches, is stable, and, because it is solidly made, gives her the confidence to get high enough without fear of falling. great product.

Still looks and works like new

by:

My parents had gotten this for me, and I like it so much that I bought one for a friend. When hauling my 5th wheel camper, the kayaks go on the roof of the truck. It's a bit of a stretch to get them tied down. This step is easy to put in place, is sturdy, and makes it much easier to reach the roof.

by:

A necessity when loading the roof carrier especially if you’re short

by:

Again, etrailer comes through strong. I bought a hitch cargo rack last year and got rear ended. The rack got bend to [****] but minor damage to the Ascent. Everything they sell is tested and shared with the consumer. The videos are amazing and I wouldn’t buy anything legit for my vehicle from anyone else. Can’t wait to use the door step. It’s strong as [****] and bigger than I thought which is awesome when trying to get stuff off the roof rack. Go to the source of companies that specialize in what you need. This is the place.

by:

What a great product. So simple yet makes it sooooo much easier to attach my paddleboard and access my rooftop bag. I used to use a stool but it was cumbersome and not tall enough. I think ill by a second one. And its construction seems to be unbreakabke.
Thanks

by:

Love this and have used it numerous times to reach tarps, etc off my SUV roof.

by:

Unfortunately did not work for me on my Sante Fe Sport. Had hoped to use it to wash my sunroof but it slants at an angle slighlty when installed and it was much smaller for my footprint to feel sturdy or safe. It sits in the box maybe one day I can find a use for it on another car.

by:

This little step is great! It lives in my car. I’m only 5’2” so this thing puts me at perfect height to load and unload my rooftop cargo box.

by:

Good and handy product, thank you!

by:

Works as expected and feels solid

by:

This is so handy! My husband and I are both shorter and now we can reach the top of the truck to tie the ladder and other things down for transport! It's very sturdy and so easy to use, too. Everyone who carries things on the top of their vehicle should get one

by:

doesn't quite work on all SUV door latches. Used it on a 2020 Volvo XC90 inscription and much of the plastic coating pealed off of the Door step. Still use it, I just have to be really careful to make sure the product does not cause damage.

by:

If you need a leg up, the Moki Door Step works universally very well! We use it for our Ford Expedition, and Volkswagen Tiguan and GTI for rooftop loading.

  • Will Moki Door Step Work on 2011 Chevy Equinox with Square/Flat Edged Door Latches
Yes, the Rightline Gear Moki Door Step # RL100660 features a universal design, and as far as we know, it can be used with nearly any vehicle on the road. I tried to find a photo of the door latch on your generation Equinox, but it's surprisingly hard to find one. That being said, from what I found, you may be referring to the fact that the "u-shaped" door latch on the Equinox actually has a more flat/square look instead of the traditional rounded u-shape. This should still work well with...

  • Fit of Thule Motion XT TH629807 Roof Cargo Box on 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with OEM Roof Rack
If you take a couple of quick measurements, you can easily determine if the Thule # TH629807 Motion XT roof cargo box would be compatible with the factory crossbars on your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. You'll first want to determine the crossbar spread, or the front to back distance between the middle of the front crossbar and the middle of the rear crossbar. If this distance is between 23-5/8 and 36-7/8 inches, or can be adjusted so it is, and the crossbars aren't more than 3-1/2 inches wide...

The etrailer brand # e98878 Kayak carrier would be an excellent but reasonably priced choice for carrying two kayaks, but you'd need to purchase two of them. The carriers are compatible with your factory crossbars. The carriers include the tie down straps to secure the kayaks to the carrier as well as the bow/stern tie downs to secure the kayak to the front and rear of the vehicle for extra stability. Anchor straps that can be closed in the vehicle hood and tailgate are also provided....

  • Best Ski Cargo Box to Clear Rear Hatchback Door
I have the perfect cargo box in mind for your 2014 Honda CR-V, and here's why its dimensions are so important: You only have 46" from your front crossbar to your hatchback door, but your skis are 71" long and your bars are 24" apart. For weight distribution purposes here where you need to center the box on your bars, you need a box that's as close to 71" as possible and even then you have a 2-foot overhang past your front bars. Too much longer and you risk balance issues. My best recommendation...

  • Fit of SportRack SR7018 Vista XL Roof Cargo Box on 2014 Mazda 3 5DR
If the factory crossbars on your 2014 Mazda 3 are less than 4 inches wide and can be adjusted so that they're 23-5/8, 25-7/8, 27-7/8 or 29-7/8 inches apart, measured center to center, the SportRack Vista XL, part # SR7018 would work well for you. For easier loading and unloading of the cargo box (unless you're very tall) you might also be interested in a door step, part # RL100660. The 3 inch height mentioned in the product description for the RockyMounts # RKY1222 TomaHawk roof mounted bike carrier is indeed the folded height. The arm you mentioned can be folded down flat when the bike isn't in place which will provide you better overhead clearance. Given the 4 inch measurement you provided, it looks like you'll just make it. Believe it or not, it's fairly common for folks to forget they're carrying things on their roof and attempt to pull into a garage or some...

Yakima's JetStream aero-style crossbars measure measure 3-1/8 x 1 and the CoreBar crossbars measure 2-3/4 x 1. It's nearly impossible to find the dimensions of OEM roof rack crossbars on a given vehicle unless they're manufactured by a known 3rd party company like Thule. However, we do know that the Rhino-Rack # RR576 Ski/Board carrier will fit crossbars up to 3-3/4 inches wide x 7/8 of an inch tall, which is pretty large. Yes, the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack part # TH599000 will fit the factory roof rack/crossbars on a 2020 Subaru Outback. The factory Subaru roof rack/crossbars are a very standard size/shape therefore you should not have any issues using most rooftop mounted accessories such as the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack which is a great choice by the way as well. The only other item I might add is the Rightline Gear Moki Door Step part # RL100660 which would help with getting the bike on and off the roof.

There's no reason at all why you couldn't use the Curt # C18220 cargo bag on the roof of your Sienna. Since you have both side rails and crossbars, you'll have plenty of places to attach the straps so a cargo basket wouldn't be necessary, but you could certainly use one if you wish.
