Fit of Thule Motion XT TH629807 Roof Cargo Box on 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with OEM Roof Rack
Question:
Will the Thule Motion XT XL fit the 2018 Pacifica with factory cross rails? Will the rear hatch open fully without hitting the cargo box?

If you take a couple of quick measurements, you can easily determine if the Thule # TH629807 Motion XT roof cargo box would be compatible with the factory crossbars on your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica.
You'll first want to determine the crossbar spread, or the front to back distance between the middle of the front crossbar and the middle of the rear crossbar. If this distance is between 23-5/8 and 36-7/8 inches, or can be adjusted so it is, and the crossbars aren't more than 3-1/2 inches wide and 1-11/16 inches tall, then the cargo box will fit on the vehicle.
To determine if you'll have rear hatch clearance so you can open the hatch without it hitting it, you'll need to take another measurement. Measure from the middle of the front crossbar that's been moved as far forward as it can (if it's moveable) rearward to the seam where the hatch meets the roof. If this distance is 51-1/4 inches or more, the hatch will fully open without touching the cargo box.
For easier roof access, you might also be interested in a roof step like part # RL100660 which provides a safe and secure boost up to roof level.
