Replace your worn-out European-style entrance handle with an easy-to-use design. Latch is comfortable for those with large hands and reduces risk of chipping manicured nails. Replaces euro locks with vertical, oval shaped cutouts.
Features:
- European style locking latch lets you replace the existing latch on your RV's entry door
- Door opens with minimal effort using grabbable pull handle
- Dual cylinders let you lock the handle and deadbolt separately
- Locking handle closes outside to visitors while freely opening from the inside
- Deadbolt secures door overnight or while you are away from the campsite
- 2 Keys are included
- Foam rubber gasket creates a tight seal to keep out the elements and pests
- Die-cut zinc construction with a matte black finish
- Easy installation - screws into your vertical cutout with included hardware
- Right-hand configuration installs on the left side of the door's exterior
- Can be keyed alike to match other Bauer locks

This is the style door handle I wanted more than any other they had. I wasn't sure how easy it was going to be to install and after having finished I don't recommend anyone retrofitting this handle for the basic style door lock. There was a lot of door cutting and repositioning of the latch and striker plate. I'm very happy with the finished product and love having a handle I can grab and swing open with a natural motion. Just know that it wasn't as easy as removing the old and screwing in the new. Installed on a 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2970RL

Haven't installed it yet but it is exactly what we need to replace our broken lock. Four stars because the original design seems to have flaws.

Installed on my 2012 Cougar. What a difference this handle makes. Now, by using my whole hand, it is much easier to open my door. It fit easily, and was installed in less than 20 min., including swapping the old rusty catch with the new and more secure one that was supplied. Looks and feels much more solid than the original. I would definitely recommend this RV door lock, and would purchase it again.

These locks work much better than the stock factory side pull handle. Safeer too
since we have to grip the handle instead of pull which eliminates hand sliping off handle resulting in us falling backwards. That's why we purchased and changed locks.

- Recommendation For Replacing An Entry Door Lock On A 2001 Exiss Living Quarters Horse Trailer With there not being a fit for your cutout you'd be left with either contacting a manufacturer to have them custom make you a new door lock or altering your cutout to accept something else like the Bauer Products European Style RV Entry Door Lock # BA26AR. This door lock requires a 7-7/16" tall x 3-3/4" wide cutout so you'd just need to trim the hole larger to fit it.
