Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a look at the Replacement Chrome Bezel for your Peterson light. So, in all likelihood, something happened to this, snapped off, broke off, and it's no good anymore. So you need to replace it so it matches with all the other lights on your trailer. And it's pretty easy to do. Just has to snap over your original light, should look something like this.

There are a couple of different models that it fits, but this one is just an example that I have here. So just snaps around that. Kind of finishes up the look of the light. Also helps to protect the hardware from any kind of tampering and also keeps it protected from the elements so that hardware doesn't rust out on you. And it also just kind of cleans up the look, makes it look a little bit more finished to have that chrome bezel on there.So it looks pretty nice.

Pretty easy to get in place. It just snaps over a couple of spots on that light housing. So there'll be a couple little indentions around the perimeter of the light. And it snaps into place with the little tabs on the outside. And then there are two tabs on either end that snap into the little opening for our hardware.

It's a good idea to only snap this in place whenever you're ready for it to be on there. Once it's seated in place, it likes to hold on pretty well. Those little snaps do a good job of holding in place. You can hear it audibly snap over.I don't have them over here, but to remove it, it's just a matter of kind of pulling out on the sides. It is somewhat flexible so you should be able to do that without too much problem.

When I was kind of messing with it, I had to sort of gently pry out. So a small screwdriver might help you out. If you we're maybe doing some maintenance to this light, changing out a wire or something like that, it's very possible that you can break this. It's just a plastic piece, not the thickest, but this should be a replacement for you. A pretty easy way to just get that back up to how it should be.Overall length, about seven and three quarter inches by about three and a half. And the thickness it's about seven eighths of an inch. So it should match up with your original. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Replacement Chrome Bezel for your Peterson light.
