Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a key locking handle from Polar Hardware. Now this handle is typically used for beverage bodies and other transportation applications. It features a 5/8th inch by 5/8th inch steel shank that has a push button locking cylinder. So right now it's in the locked position. There's the unlocked position. You can see how we can rotate the handle.

It will rotate all the way around, 360 degrees. When the pin back here on the lock lines up with portion here, you can push the lock in and it clicks into place into the locked position.Now the casting is zinc plated and powder coated for ultimate rust and corrosion resistance. The mounting plate is steel with a zinc plating and so is the shank here at the back. Steel construction with a zinc plating. Now you'll notice it's a three mount hole design.

It comes with two keys. So you got one mount hole here at the base. Two here on this upper portion or whatever configuration you want to mount the unit. But it's a three mount hole design. Each mount hole has a quarter inch diameter.

The distance between the these two mount holes center on center is two inches. From the center of these holes to the center of this hole going in a straight line measurement is four inches.The shank, which is this portion here, that measure six inches long. The overall measurement . I took a measurement from the very back of the shank to the outer most point of the unit, which is this portion here and it pretty much lines up the lock when it's in the out or unlocked position, and that gave us an overall length measurement of about eight and 1/8th of an inch. The handle itself, that measure eight and 3/16th of an inch long.

Then the body, outer edge to outer edge, is three inches by four and 13/16th of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the key locking handle from Polar Hardware.
