Today we're going to take a look at the surface mount bracket kit for the Peterson 154 series or 161 series self-grounding lights. Now, this kit will combine a gray bracket here with the terminal pad and the lead wire for mounting a Peterson 154 or 161 series trailer clearance and side marker lights.It is a surface mount design. You can see the mounting hardware's included. Just put the screws through there. And if you notice what's nice, it's a single wire design, so basically when you put this mounting screw through there and install it, it'll actually ground it through the screw so you don't need that second white wire for grounding. I happened to pull a Peterson 154 series light here. See, it has the dual pins on the back. So when you go to install it, you just push it into there and push it all the way down. It'll lock into place on the ends. Because you already have the screw in there to ground it, all you need is this one black wire for power.
Once you hook that up, that'll send power. It'll ground there, and it'll light up your light for you. Simple as that.It is for a quantity of one bracket. Few dimensions on this. Overall length on the bracket one end to the other is going to be right at 4 1/8 inches.
Total height on it, it's going be right at 1 1/8 inches tall. The total depth on the ends, that's the widest part, it's going to be right at 5/8 inches, 5/8 of an inch deep.But that should do it for the review on the surface mount bracket kit for the Peterson 154 series or 161 series self-grounding lights.
