Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be looking at the second tier load bar system for the Malone MegaSport kayak trailer, part number MPG545. I've got the second tier load bar system installed on my Malone MegaSport. Check out all I'm able to haul. I've got two paddle boards, two kayaks, a surf board, and a Malone cargo box. This gives you a second tier of 50-inch cross bars, with a 150 pound weight capacity. It's constructed of the same galvanized steel that'll match the rest of your trailer and look great.
The rear load bar is adjustable. With the bolts loosened, as they are now, you can slide it forward and backward to suit your favorite accessory.It's an easy installation using all the included hardware that'll attach right to your MegaSport trailer. That completes our look at the second tier load bar system for the Malone MegaSport Kayak trailer, part number MPG545.

Etrailer.com was great and the order came in about four days. The package was very beat up and torn but all components were there but some shad minor scratches. The instruction provided were very inadequate. You need to be careful when assembling the rack because on the support pieces bolt holes are about 1/2" different. Also, I was shorted several bolts and nuts even though the bolt package was not opened. Overall I am very satisfied with the finished product. Very sturdy and looks great on the trailer.
So now that I have my MegaSport Trailer assembled and all of the accessories, including this 2nd Tier Load Bar System, I can make an honest opinion. 1st off, the box was all banged up and parts were kind of scattered all over the place. 2nd, I was missing two bolts so I couldn't complete the assembly, I'll need to run to the hardware store to buy them, I'm not waiting for the company to ship them. Lastly, one of the cross bar brackets was over galvanized, so I had to ream out the holes to get the bolts to go through them. You'd think for the cost of this thing, they'd do a better job with the parts count and better packing.
All and all though, this 2nd tier will be very useful and I'm glad I bought it, just wish it came with all of the parts, maybe a little cheaper too:)
