Ellen: Hey everyone I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the LaSalle Bristol threaded sink drain. This is going to have a popup stopper, so it's kind of a neat little contraption there. And just push to open or close it, and this is going to be a replacement for your kitchen sink drain, or maybe in your bathroom, really anywhere that you had a drain like this, it's going to work out well for you. So the interior threaded portion will connect into your drain adapter to go into the rest of your drain system. It comes with a threaded nut to connect that to your sink, and then also a little cardboard space here and a rubber grommet.So that rubber grommet is going to help take up the gap there, and also provide a watertight seal around the outside. It's not a bad idea to put some sealant though around the bottom of that drain, to make sure that it stays nice and water tight, so you're not getting any leakage around that drain opening.

The diameter of this outer portion is going to be about one and a half inch. Or, excuse me about one and three quarter inches, so it should fit into that drain adapter. Again, to close it you just press down until that little gasket forms all the way around, press it, pops up and let's the water go down through.That's pretty much all there is to it. For a look at the LaSalle Bristol threaded sink drain with popup stopper, there's going to be a Chrome plated construction. And that pop up stopper, just to give you a height on that, looks like it stands about half an inch tall when closed, and about an inch tall when open.
