Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the LaSalle Bristol threaded sink drain with lift-up stopper. This is a chrome-plated, threaded drain that's going to give you that lift up stopper. It's going to replace a worn out or damaged drain and stopper in your RV's sink. So, if you've got a need for a new drain and stopper, this is going to be a great option for you.If you're not familiar, LaSalle Bristol is a very well-trusted brand.
They do work with a lot of manufacturers. So it's possible that this is going to be the exact same piece that was originally in your RV or trailer. Obviously, I don't know exactly what kind you're using, so I can't say for sure. But I think this is going to be a great option for you.It includes the gasket and the threaded nut here so that you can get this tightened down into place under your sink, so that everything is going to be nice and tight. You're not going to worry about water leaks or anything.Just for extra reassurance, this little drain pipe here is just shy of two inches.
Call it closer to about an inch and three quarters. But with that threading that it gets up to about an inch and 15, 16ths. So just make sure that's going to work for you, but it is pretty standard size. So it should work in almost all applications.I will point out that this lift up piece here is a little wobbly. There is a screw in there you can see that you can probably tighten that down and make that a little bit stiffer for your application.
But it just depends on what you're wanting to do so that you can get that sink closed off again, if you need to shave or whatever, you're using your sink bowl for. Obviously, you want to be able to hold water.So, that's going to be a great option for you if you're needing to replace your drain. And that's pretty much all there is to it. It fit exactly. It works as designed. It works so well I forgot we actually replaced it.
I had a hard time finding this drain until I found your site. I’ve used your site for trailer parts before but didn’t realize plumbing parts were there as well. The drain arrived today as promised (quickly) and it is installed already Communication was great throughout. Thank you
