We searched everywhere on RV parts websites for this, including the manufacturer. We found it here at etrailer. It was in Stock and shipped right away. Will come here first the next time we are looking for a part for the RV.

How to Remove Lens Cover on Replacement Light Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps
I went out to our warehouse to see how the lens cover is attached on the Replacement Light Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps - Amber - 2-13/16" Diameter # LC379414. Although it looks like it could be threaded, that is just a lip to keep it attached. Prying it off is the correct way to remove the lens cover. You will see a cutout on the white backing on either side, which will allow you to use a flat head screwdriver or other tool to remove it.

Replacement Parts for Kwikee Series 28 Electric RV Steps For Complete Setup
For your Lippert Series 26 step, I recommend the Lippert Components Kwikee Step power switch and door kit # LC369311 and then using controller # LC379146. Then you will also add the Lippert Components Kwikee Step Replacement Light # LC379414. This will work the single step # LC3747451 which comes with gears and motor only. If you are unsure of the current gear box and motor, then you would use the complete kit # LC379769.

Replacement LED Strip Light For Kwikee Electric RV Steps
I do have a recommendation as there is not a clear lens available that fits the Light Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379414. Since the light is a simple 12 volt light you can install a LED Utility Strip Light # TN36ZR on your steps. You will need to connect the negative wire to a suitable ground location as the Kwikee light only has the one wire connector. The aluminum housing provides a durable rust free housing that protects the LED lights.

Availability of Replacement Lamp with Clear Lens for Lippert Kwikee Steps
Unfortunately, Lippert does not offer a clear lens or a replacement lamp with a clear lens. However, I do have a solution that would work for you. I'd recommend using the Optronics # UCL60CB. It's about the same diameter, and is an LED lamp so it would be brighter, draw less power and last much longer. It's also comparably priced. It's also submersible, so water getting on the lamp won't be a problem. The mounting holes are at 2-1/4 inches on center, as opposed to the 1-1/2 inch for...
