I was stranded in the Desert at my son's house with steps that would not retract on my Motorhome. I ordered the replacement motor from etrailer and had inadvertently given the wrong shipping address. Before I could contact etrailer about the mistake the package was delivered to the correct address even though I had given the wrong address. I trust etrailer with everything I need for replacement items for my Motorhome, I was on the road 2 days after I requested the replacement part.

These parts are direct replacements for factory originals but higher quality. Originals were cast metal and some had split and fallen out. The new parts are machined and should be more durable.

  • Replacement Spacers for Coach Step 725-0023
    Thank you for the diagrams and all of the info. It actually looks like you are missing an additional 2 spacers. If you check out the attached photos you can see that the part 38 in the instructions calls for a quantity of 6 and that you put 2 on each of your 3 bolts. You place 1 on either side of the Motor for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301695. If you can't find the other 2 spacers we have replacements as part # LC128958 on our site.

    If your RV steps extend more slowly with new motor # LC301695 than they used to with their original motor in place then the issue is likely to be either a weak electrical/ground connection to the motor, a mechanical problem with the step hinge mechanism or that the motor is not geared the same way as the original.
