Works well! However my steps weren't working because of a bad wire splice on the magnetic door switch. Check before you order what you think you may need.
Matched up pretty good. Finding parts for a 20+ year old coach can be tough. etrailer.com is my go to for my rv parts!

It started with the order for a controller for our Navion steps. I had been trying to fix this and even sent it to a dealer who failed in fixing it.
The steps would fold down early in the morning but only once or twice. Sometimes it wouldn't even do that. Nothing like an intermittent problem.
I ordered the part before we were taking a trip with the motorhome and then realized that it would not arrive before we left. No problem, I thought, I will just have it forwarded to Colorado.
Well, we forwarded the part. I figured I could fix it in Colorado.
Well, it did not come, even though we were in Boulder for six weeks, checking regularly with the local post office and also using helpful people with etrailer over the phone. Not only were they helpful, but they were courteous and congenial.
We tried to find it with the post office as well but to no avail.
Finally, we gave up and ordered another. We expected to be billed for the ordered part but were not.
Crawling under the motorhome, I found that it was the wrong part. There were two similar Navions and apparently I had ordered the wrong one.
Sheepishly, we ordered another and sent the wrong part back. Today I received the correct part at no charge. We were very pleased and cannot say enough about etrailer.
I had ordered wheels and tires and other boat trailer parts in the past from etrailer and was always pleased with their products and service.

I spoke to a parts person at the facility to confirm the part was a direct replacement. I was assured it would fit which it did. I did need to cut the power supply wire harness to the motor and splice the original harness as the connector was different on the motor. The unit works great.
All I can say received part at my house before I mad it home excellent service. Will install in a few days. Hopefully will take care of problem. Thanks for getting shipped in a timely manner.
Plug & play - very simple and works excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or buy another one if I should need it.
I replaced both the motor and the controller for the steps of our motorhome after multiple events of the steps not working. First the power plug failed so I eliminated it with sealed connectors. Next the steps sometimes stayed in for no apparent reason but always pulled in upon engine start so motor problem seemed unlikely. After removing the steps AGAIN (really,it's not that difficult) I replaced both the controller and motor and they have worked flawlessly ever since. Any time I can find what I need on etrailer I get it here. The service has been flawless and the instruction videos, priceless.

I trouble shot the problem and found the controller faulty. I found a replacement on etrailer.com and ordered it. It was delivered as promised, I replaced the control and it works as new. Again thanks for the good service. Jcpresto.

Shipped & delivered quickly. Easy to install, had to start the engine so it would work the first time and has worked properly since.
