Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Kwikee RV battery tray. This is an easy way to house your batteries, but also still have access to them in that under camper compartment, or that under bed compartment of your RV.It helps you to get access to them so you can do any maintenance, or switch them out when the time comes, without having to really reach in there and grab them and not see what's going on. So this way, we can actually just roll them out, do whatever we need to do, roll back in, and all done.So this tray has two little latches that hold it in place so it can stay where we want it to be, and then whenever we're ready to roll it out, it's going to roll out nice and easy. It has really nice, smooth ball bearings to help roll that out really easily and smoothly, which also helps because a lot of times, those batteries can be pretty heavy, so we'll be able to do that with ease with those rollers. So let's take a closer look at it and make sure that this is going to be the right fit for you. This is going to be one of the smaller battery trays that we have here at etrailer.com.
Overall, it measures about 15 1/2". So that's going to be the front to back measurement there, about 15 1/2" long, and then about 15 and an 1/8" wide, and three 3/8" tall. The actual tray or the usable space inside here is about 13 inches by a little less than 14 inches. It's a little closer to 13 3/4. This extends out a fair amount, so I'm going to measure that for you guys.
So from the front to the latch, it rolls out by about 11 inches, so that's about how much travel we get out of this tray. The weight capacity for it is 130 pounds. It is made out of a sturdy steel construction, with a nice powder coat finish to resist any kind of rust and corrosion for the tray, and also for our lower brackets here. It should be a pretty nice addition to your RV to keep those batteries in the spot you want them, and then again, have access to them when you need to switch things out. It is covered by a one year warranty, and it is made in the USA, and that's about all there is to it for our look at the Kwikee RV battery tray. I hope this video has been helpful.
Again, there are other sizes here at etrailer.com, so if you need something maybe a little bit bigger, we should have you covered. Thanks for watching.

This battery tray slides out of your RV or camper so you can replace, switch out, or disconnect your batteries without reaching into your dirty or cramped battery or cargo compartment. The interior of the tray measures 13" x 13-3/4".The slide is great. But the width is 18 1/8 inches, but the rivets stick out to make it 18 1/4. So I raised it up so the rivets sit above the bracket. It is alittle tight, but it does work
