Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Kodiak 13 inch rotor in a standard automotive raw finish. This slip on, over-the-hub rotor is going to make it easy to convert your 7,200 pound to 8,000 pound idler axle to a disc brake axle. And this is going to fit over your standard idler hub, and is then held in place by the wheel and wheel bolts. Now, let me pull my ruler up to this real quick and just again, confirm that diameter with you. As you can see, we are sitting at 13 inches in diameter.

And this rotor has (ruler clanking) an 8 on 6 and a 1/2 inch bolt pattern, and will fit wheel sizes of 16 inches and larger. The bolt hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch and the (knocking against rotor) cast iron construction is going to ensure a favorable friction coefficient, for necessary stopping power. And the vented design that you see here is going to effectively dissipate heat, and that's going to help prevent heat related damage. Now again, this comes in that standard automotive finish. Also known as a raw finish.
