Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the single rocker switch with bezel. This is a simple on-off switch. You can see it's got a nice little curve to it, so it's going to be easy to use. So this is going to be great for a ceiling light or a fan, some other small appliance like that, that just needs that on-off functionality.You can see we've got the piece that's going to screw into our wall here.

And then we've got our cover. Both of these are a brown color. I would call it like a milk chocolate if I we're to trying to be descriptive for you. Make sure that you get the right color for you. So if you've got a brown interior color, this could work well for you.You can see on the back, we've got the blade style connectors to get that power in and out.

This does not come with the mounting hardware. So you will need to provide a few screws, but it's likely that you already have those screws from your previous switch, unless you're adding this as a new option.As far as our measurements go, this is going to be right about just over two and three quarters. Call it about two and seven-eighths of an inch tall. As far as our width, we're looking at right about just over an inch and three quarters of an inch.Now, when you're installing this, the measurement you need to pay attention to is this little box here. This is what's actually going to fit inside your wall.

So it is right about an inch and a half tall. And just over an inch, call it about an inch and one eighth. But you do want to make sure that you have a little bit of wiggle room in your cutout. So they recommend having a one in five eighths inch tall, and one in one quarter inch wide hole so that you can get this in place.Now, when you're working with anything electrical, you do want to make sure that it's going to be safe. This is capable of 16 amps at 125 volts to 250 volts of alternating current.

As well as three quarters horsepower at 125 volts to 250 volts alternating current. It's also capable of 10 amps at 14 volts and three amps at 125 volts. Now, it is an SPST, which just means Single Pole Single Throw. So you only have the two options, on, off. So that's all that means.This is approved by the UL, CSA and VDE standards. So you can trust that it is going to hold up well, and you're not going to have any electrical problems with this. It is made here in the USA. So, if that gives you a little bit more confidence in the quality of its manufacturing, that is another point for you there.But overall, it's just a simple on-off switch. Has a nice, plastic face to it. And if this is what you're looking for, I think it's going to do a good job for you. Obviously, you want to make sure that the brown color is going to match your interior. But other than that, I think it's going to work great. So that's going to complete our look for today.
