Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at the Single On/On Rocker Switch. This switch is going to allow you to control your lights and other applications powered by your battery. This is a Single Pole Double Throw or SPDT. So you're gonna have your middle prong there, is going to be your positive. And then the two on either side are going to be your two load prongs.

So power's coming in, and then depending on where you have that rocker switch will determine which load the power is being sent to. This is capable of 16 amps at 125 volts, 12 amps at 250 volts of alternating current, three quarters horsepower at 125 volts up to 250 volts of alternating current and 10 amps at 14 volts of direct current. So depending on your application, make sure that this is gonna work for you. You can see it is a brown color, so it should blend in really nicely with your brown light switch. If you're seeking to replace an original, the switch dimensions going to be right at one and a quarter of an inch tall by, just shy of three quarters of an inch, we'll call it 11 sixteenth of an inch wide.

Our cutout dimensions going to be one and one eighth of an inch tall by half inch wide, to ensure that you'll be able to put this in place. You can see it's got those plastic prongs that will allow it to slide in and then catch, so it won't pull out without some effort. So it's gonna sit where you want it to inside that housing.
