Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the illuminated rocker switch. So this can replace just about any rocker switch that you might need to replace. That has a single pull, single throw design. So basically that just means it turns one thing on or off or provides power, and then it doesn't. It also is going to have another tine back here another connection to make for the actual light inside the switch.
So it gives you an indicator whenever the item is powered on, it makes it easy to see if it's powered on or off. Pretty easy, simple little guy. You can take a closer look at it to make sure that it's going to match for your application. So you can see we'll have our switch here. The light is going to come from this little central rectangle in the center.
The back, you can see we'll have our three connection points, one for our ground, and then power for the light and for our item that we're trying to actually power. So as far as size for the cutout, length wise needs to be at least three quarters of an inch. It does have a couple little spacers here a little tines to hold that in place. It gives them tension on either side of the cutout of the mounting hole. Should be also able to remove the cover on the switch itself so that it would make it a little bit easier to install, I believe.
Maybe not though. Probably will make it easier, but it's not necessary for the install. As far as the switch overall or the outside dimensions. It's about three eighths of an inch by about an inch and a quarter, maybe an inch and five sixteenths. The depth is about half an inch.
It is going to be the red color made in USA. As far as the power output or power ratings for this, can handle 16 amps at 125 or 250 volts AC up to three quarter horsepower at 125 volts up to 250 volts AC or 10 amps at 14 volts DC. So, should be up to the task if it meets those requirements for you. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the illuminated rocker switch. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right piece for you. If not, we do have a lot of other options here at etrailer.com. So check them out. Thanks for watching..

Reliable quality switch that illuminates when the circuit is on. Easy to install.
Great reminder accessory to indicate your lights are on behind trailer closed doors
Good news, this switch fit and operated correctly on my 2004 Winnebago Adventurer 33V for the water heater, for the electric heating element.
Bad news, this switch is not Made in the United States of America ,as advertised, unless Taiwan is now our 51st state.
Works great. Drop in replacement for the factory switch. Now I can tell at a glance if the water heater is on.

Product is still working great and it makes a huge difference knowing when the switch is on and lit up versus off and dark.
