Today, we're going to take a look at the InfiniteRule Stainless Steel Locking Pin for the Andersen Rapid Hitch Ball Mount. Now, this is a flush-style lock, which will secure your Andersen Rapid Hitch Ball Mount Platform to your ball mount. This lock is a heavy-duty, stainless steel construction. If you notice on the head, it has the three grooves on it, which makes it easy to grab and remove. And on the inside of this lock, they use an O-ring to help protect the internal components from dirt and grime. In a minute here, I'm going to take this apart and show you that O-ring.You see on the outside, it has this nice rubber, weather resistant tethered dust cover to help keep water and debris out of the keyways of the lock.

Two keys are included. This lock is made in the USA. And just to show you how you remove it. Go ahead and insert your key. And then you just twist it like you're unscrewing a bolt.

And once you unscrew it enough, the head will come right off, and now you're ready to install it. And there's that O-ring we mentioned that will seal the internal components.And, then, you go to put it back on. You run this through your ball mount applying the head up, and then you just tighten that key back down again like you're tightening a bolt. One thing I want to show you, once you get it tight. To remove the key, what you need to do, let me just zoom in to show you.

If you look on the face here, you'll see four. Every quarter turn there's four indentations or marks. 12 o'clock, three o'clock, six o'clock, nine o'clock position. And you just have to have that key line up with one of those marks to remove it. So there's one right there.

If you turn it enough. Oh, it won't go all the way, so just go back to the other one, and line it up, and the key will come right out. So, all you have to do is line the key up with one of those four marks, and the key will come right out.And then it's all locked, you can see, ready to go. Again, the application for this is Andersen Rapid Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount. The sheer strength on this lock is 42,000 pounds, and the sheer strength is determined by them placing the locking pin in a stress position, and they subject it to increasing force until a required load is met or the pin fails. And this lock, again, has a sheer strength of 42,000 pounds. Pin diameter on this is 5/8 of an inch. A few overall dimensions on this. The length of it. Right at seven inches long.
