Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today, we're gonna take a quick look at the Infinite Rule Ball Mount Rock Set. This set is going to replace these standard pins for your Curt Rebellion XD adjustable ball mount. So you can see I've already got one of the two included locks installed here. So it is going to replace both of the pins that secure your ball mount platform to your adjustable shank. I've got one removed here, so I can show you in closer detail but it will replace both of those pins that you're gonna have a nice secure connection. No one's gonna be able come along and remove your ball mount to steal your trailer in gear.

So it is gonna be very secure for you. Now, this both of these locks are the exact same. They're both made of a heavy duty stainless steel. So they're gonna hold up well and do a good job for you. They are going to have a sheer strength of 42,000 pounds.

And so again, they are gonna be very strong and durable. You can see they are gonna have this grouped pinhead. That's going be very easy to grab. There are gonna come with two keys, on these chords are key the like. So just one key will work for both of them.

So you don't have to keep track of which key goes to which lock, they'll both work. So very nice to have this turnstile lock, so rather than most locks out there which are just kind of a quarter turn which can be easily picked, these are going to require you to have the key in, so that you can turn the head like that to ensure that it's gonna be more secure for you. Once we remove the lock head we can easily slip our pin out. If we need to adjust the ball mount to accommodate a different trailer height and then when we're ready we can just re insert it and lock it back up. While I have it open, I do wanna point out this O-ring here.

That's gonna help protect our internal components from any dirt and grime getting in there, and gunky ended up causing problems, and we can very easily just turn the keys back until it's locked again. You can see on the head there, there is little indicator, those lines at the top, let us know when we can remove it. Being that it's a continual turn kind of head. It does get a little confusing. So it's nice to have those indicators to make sure, you know where it needs to be in order to pull it out. And of course, we do have our weather resistant, tethered dust cap here, that's gonna help keep water and debris out of our lock core and key ways. To make sure that we're always gonna be able, to get our key in and out easily. Now, both of these pins are going to be a three quarter inch diameter. So the exact same as the pins that came with your Rebellion XT, they do have an inside span of right at two and seven eighths of an inch. So that's gonna be the opening, to allow your adjustable ball mount, to fit in there. And they have an overall length of about five and a half inches. And then if I compare this to the pin that comes with your Rebellion, you can see it is round about an inch and a half longer. So make sure that you all gonna have enough clearance space for these locks, when you're using that with your trailer and set up. These are made here in the USA, so you can trust they're made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. And if you are concerned about security, I think this is a great option for you, get both pins replaced, so you don't have to worry it's doubly secure for you. But we do also have another kit available that is going to use both of these pins, but then it's also going to give you a hitch lock that will install right on your pinhole for your hitch to make sure that your whole Curt Rebellion can't be removed. And again, all three are keyed alike. So you can just have one key on your key chain and it will work for all three pins. So very convenient too, if you're wanting to, make sure that all the components are locked together. But if you're just wanting, the one set this is going to do a good job of ensuring that both pinholes are secure for you. So that again, you don't have to worry about someone coming along and taking off with your trailer. So that's gonna complete our look for today.
