Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this replacement surge module for your Power Watchdog Surge Protector with emergency shutdown. Now this is going to replace the surge module for your Power Watchdog 50 amp surge protector with Bluetooth and emergency shutdown. And as you can see there on your screen, this is going to work with either the portable version or the hardwired version and on your screen, not only do I have the photos of each of those, but I'm also including the item number of each of those surge protectors for your reference so you can be confident that this module is going to be exactly what you need. I thought the bright light dog face would be an issue but it's not. We have used it for an entire season and I am very happy with it. We carry an extra surge module just in case. Nice that this is replaceable. Just plug and play, monitor the power with the app. I always lock it with a cable lock. Don't want the dog to wander off.

My rating is for the service of etrailer, not the product I bought from them. I won't be using the items til January. Service and communication was outstanding. Continued communication from when the order was placed to delivery. Never have I saw this commitment. I will rate the 50 amp Watchdog after I start using it.
Had it about a year and it has done its job as advertised.
After reading reviews of other surge protectors, we opted for the portable Watchdog EPO for several reasons - excellent reviews, ease of installation and bluetooth technology. I love being able to watch voltage and amp draw on the App. I also ordered a replacement surge module. I realize Hughes offers one free replacement within the first two years, but being fulltimers, we didn't want to wait for a replacement.
This was my first purchase from eTrailer and couldn't be happier! Communication was awesome! They notified me with a tracking number when my order shipped and even informed me it had been delivered. Wow!

I had just received the Bull Dog Surge protector when I got the email and I hadn’t opened the box yet. I’ve since opened the box and reviewed the product. Because I’m not at a campground, I cannot plug the unit in to test test it yet. So far I’m thrilled about the purchase and quick delivery from etrailer and I’m sure to be very satisfied with the product per the reviews and recommendations from friends.
Hopefully will never need it but have it for quick repair of our WatchDog if it gets “zapped”

I have had the Watchdog a year now. Has been in use off and on for 10 months. Never had a problem with it. Never had a bad power pole per the Watchdog. The app was easy to pair. Nice to be able to see how much power is being used. I thought the extreme length of the Watchdog would be a problem, but it hasn’t.
