What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out the Durabilt sleeve for your straps. So this is gonna go around your strap, like we have it set up here, on those points that make a lot of contact and might rub on there a little bit. This is gonna add that extra protection with this sleeve on there. So that way, if anything gets worn down, it's gonna be the sleeve and not your strap. Let's check it out.

The sleeve's gonna be made out of a polyester, it's gonna be eight inches long and then two inches wide. So you can see there's plenty of sleeve to go down there to wherever you adjust the strap, it's not like just a small sleeve that would go here that would just slide back and forth all the time. It's got a decent amount on there, so it'll travel, so even if it is like not completely touching when you get it set up, as you tighten it, it pulls on there. It's gonna make contact and just protect that strap of yours. We're gonna just slide our sleeve over the s-hook.

It's really this easy to install it, just slide it through there til it gets right there. Slide it on, I'm gonna reattach my strap for where we need it. Then we can adjust the sleeve wherever it needs to be on the strap before we start tighten it down. So we're gonna go here on the side because it has an edge, but it's not as aggressive as this edge. So this being flat against here, it's gonna be better for the strap and the sleeve in the long term.

Now go ahead and tighten it down, nice and tight. Overall, really simple thing, but it's gonna save you in the long run, really like that. So instead of keeping buying straps that might be getting cut by that edge right there, you can buy this sleeve to protect those straps. That way, they last longer. Well that about does it.
