Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today, we're taking a quick look at the replacement retaining clip for Solera Power Awning Drive Head. This is going to keep the bushing in place on your pin to keep everything rolling smoothly on your drive head, so if you had some issues and you need to replace some of those components inside that awning drive head, this is going to be that retaining clip that you need. It fits a half inch pin, so the half inch pin that goes with your head should look like this and it just slides into that little groove there and then holds the bushing in place. The bushing should look something like this.So basically this is the portion that's coming out of our drive head that attaches to the fabric roller, and then our bushing will be on the other side and then the cover goes here, so this is what's coming actually out of the housing. Now, the bushing and this pin, these are sold separately, you can find those here at etrailer.com.
If you look at the product page for the retaining clip, you can find those as related items. But this is going to be compatible with the Solera Awning Gear Drive Heads, part numbers, LC266146 and also, LC273478. That's going to do it for our look at the replacement retaining clip for Solera Power Awning Drive Head..

The drive head shaft to my awning sheared for no apparent reason and the unit was less than a year old. I couldn’t wait for the warranty part as I was told it would take several weeks to get one. etrailer had the parts I needed in stock and received them in just a couple of days. Decent prices, great CS is why I would recommend them if you need a part in short order.
They were needed and used, but price is beyond rediculous.

It’s been over a year since installing the drive head shaft on my Lippert awning and it still works great with no issues
