These padded covers are designed to slide over your Bulldog Winch Axle Straps to protect the connection point on the axle of your vehicle, and your vehicle's paint and finishing. It uses the hook and loop closure or fasteners, which secures the covers over the straps. That's full length.So you open that up, place your strap in there and then close it back over. This is a polyester outer cover with internal foam padding. You can see that internal block of foam that runs the full length as well.
Designed to help resist tears and abrasions, so not only does it protect the finishing on your axle or your vehicle, but it also protects the strap itself.With this part number, you get two straps. I do have one installed, so I want to show you what that looks like over the axles strap. So you can see there it just adds a lot more protection to the strap. Also, it's very soft and padded, so it's going to do a great job at protecting any contact point.
